WHO I AM

I am currently a TV journalist in Egypt; my position is Senior TV Presenter with more than 25 years of experience in most of broadcasting fields.

Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Theatrical Arts from the Academy of arts, Cairo


Alongside with my study of drama and theater I wrote short story, plays and novels as a professional, with 5 published books in Arabic language and over 180 essay in most of the Arab world's magazines and newspapers. In 1987 I designed the lighting for a big production play in Egypt at 1987 called (Salomé). I also worked as assistant of theater director for most famous names in Egypt from 1984 to 1988. The most experience before I work in TV helped me to be in the front lines among my colleagues when we started Canal TV or channel 4 in Ismailia. I also was acting to radio with more than 20 roles in the radio drama in our local Radio Canal in Egypt.(Ismailia). 
I still have power and love to work in team working style, for the deadline time. I think I am excellent in research and writing ability. I also have a proven track record in finding powerful real life stories that have featured in national and regional media. I work in perfect with most Adobe products; Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and InDesign and able to deliver high quality photographs for media usage. I work in final cut pro as well to edit and mix my footage. 
Excellent project and relationship management skills and experience of working in an international environment. Beside the visual work I am perfect in using all audio software like: Pro tools, Sony sound forge and Adobe Audition. I write record and edit my work till the finish.

In 1988 United Arab Emirates produced a big documentary film about Suez Canal using a crew from BBC and the Arabic voice over was by: Tarek Hassan.

A correspondence for BBC Arabic, as freelancer in a program called "Nadwat AL Mostameen".

Voice over for Save the Children UK, Global Children's Charity. A poem book for children in Egypt
