Born in Ismailia Suzy Ambache or Suzy Eban

Suzy Eban, the widow of former Foreign Minister Abba Eban, "The story of her life is the personification of the Zionist story," he added. "Throughout her life, she demonstrated a deep commitment to the establishment of the state and to its welfare, and did so in an awe-inspiring manner. In her passing, she leaves to us all a glorious heritage of action and of contributing to the people and the state. May her memory be for a blessing."

Suzy Eban, nee Ambache, was born in Ismailiya, ( Ismailia ) Egypt and raised in Cairo, where she met her future husband. Aubrey Eban was an officer in the British army who was stationed in Egypt. He went on to become one of the most influential statesmen in Israeli history. He served for many years as Israel's ambassador to the United Nations and was Israel's first ambassador to the United States. He also served as minister of education, as deputy prime minister and as foreign minister.

On 1 January 1945 Aubrey Eban was engaged to the Ismailia-born Suzy Ambache who had just graduated from the American University with a Bachelors of Arts in Social Science. Their subsequent March wedding was solemnized by Senator Haim Nahum Effendi. In his splendid blue and black robes Egypt's Chief Rabbi looked like something out of a Cecil B. De Mille movie.

Suzy Ambache Eban returned to her birthplace on 25 December 1977 during the visit to Ismailia of Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. He had asked her to come along when he learned she was born there. Eban, who was absent at the historic Begin-Sadat encounter, had by now fulfilled most of his ambitions. In conformity to his beliefs he had Hebraized his name to Aba so that it was as Aba Eban that in May 1949 he raised the Star of David at the United Nations in New York evincing the creation of the Jewish State. Eban was his country's Permanent Representative to the UN and sometime ambassador to Washington for the next 10 years.

سوزي أمباتشي ايبان ، ولدت في الإسماعيلية، (الإسماعيلية) مصر ، ونشأت في القاهرة، حيث التقت زوجها المستقبلي. حيث كان أوبري ايبان ضابطاً في الجيش البريطاني الذي كان يرابط في مصر. والذي أصبح واحداً من رجال دولة الأكثر تأثيرا في تاريخ إسرائيل. شغل لسنوات عديدة منصب سفير إسرائيل لدى الأمم المتحدة ، وكان أول سفير إسرائيل لدى الولايات المتحدة. كما شغل منصب وزير التعليم ، نائبا لرئيس الوزراء ومنصب وزير الخارجية.

في 1 يناير 1945 تمت خطوبة أوبري ايبان إلى سوزي أمباتشي التي ولدت في الإسماعيلية حيث كانت قد تخرجت من الجامعة الأمريكية وحصلت علي البكالوريوس في الآداب في العلوم الاجتماعية. وتم الاحتفال بزفافهما في مارس 1945 برئاسة السيناتور حاييم ناحوم أفندي. كما ذكر في كتابه الرائع ( الجلباب الأزرق والأسود ) حيث وصف بدا الحاخام الأكبر في مصر الحفل وكأنه مشهد من فيلم سيسيل ب دو ميل. ( يقصد حفل الزواج ).

عادت سوزي أمباتشي ايبان إلى مسقط رأسها الإسماعيلية في 25 ديسمبر 1977 خلال دعوة من رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي مناحيم بيغن. وكان قد طلب منها أن تأتي لتكون بجانبه عندما علم أنها ولدت هناك. أبا ايبان ، الذي كان غائبا في اللقاء التاريخي بيغن- السادات، وكان قبل الآن وفت بمعظم تطلعاته. وفقا لمعتقداته انه Hebraized اسمه أبا بحيث كان كما أبا ايبان التي مايو 1949 وقال انه رفع نجمة داود في الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك البرهنة على إنشاء دولة يهودية. كان ايبان الممثل بلاده الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة وأحيانا سفيرا في واشنطن على مدى السنوات ال 10 المقبلة.

נולד איסמעיליה סוזי אמבש סוזי אבן

סוזי אבן, לבית אמבש, נולדה באיסמעיליה, (איסמעיליה) מצרים וגדל בקהיר, שם פגשה את בעלה לעתיד. אוברי אבן היה קצין בצבא הבריטי שהיה מוצב במצרים. הוא המשיך להיות אחד המדינאים המשפיעים ביותר בתולדות המדינה. הוא שימש במשך שנים רבות כשגריר ישראל באו"ם והיה השגריר הראשון של ישראל בארצות הברית. הוא שימש גם שר החינוך, לסגן ראש הממשלה וכשר החוץ.

ב -1 בינואר 1945 אוברי אבן היתה מאורסת אל סוזי אמבש יליד איסמעיליה שסיים רק מהאוניברסיטה האמריקאית עם ראשון לאמנות במדעי החברה. במרץ החתונה הבאה שלהם הייתה קודרת על ידי סנטור החיים נחום אפנדי. בגלימות כחולות ושחור המפוארת שלו של מצרים הרב הראשי נראה כמו משהו מתוך סרט Mille ססיל ב דה.

סוזי אמבש אבן חזר הולדתה ב -25 בדצמבר 1977 במהלך ביקור איסמעיליה של מנחם בגין ראש ממשלת ישראל. הוא ביקש ממנה לבוא כאשר נודע לו שהיא נולדה שם. אבן, שהיה נעדר במרכז בגין-סאדאת המפגש ההיסטורי, ודאי עתה מילא רוב שאיפותיו. בהתאם לאמונתו הוא עיברת את שמו אבא כך שהוא היה כמו אבא אבן כי בחודש מאי 1949 הוא העלה את מגן דוד באו"ם בניו יורק evincing יצירת המדינה היהודית. אבן היה הנציג הקבוע של ארצו באו"ם מתישהו השגריר בוושינגטון במשך 10 השנים הבאות.
